Before we left Texas, we had to take Lily to the Houston Rodeo. We went on the 19
th, and it was absolutely perfect! We left early and got to the park and ride by 9:30 or so. I guess since we got there early, they let us all ride free! (There were 5 adults and Lily.) When we got to the rodeo/carnival area, it was pretty much open, which was why I wanted to get there early. We were able to go through everything before any lines formed. Here is
Lily on the park and ride with David.

The first thing we went through was "Fun on the Farm". It was such a neat exhibit! Here is Lily feeding the chickens. There is a funny story with this. When you got to the hen house, a man gave you a cup of corn to feed the chickens. Lily immediately took the cup and dumped it in her basket. that is why her basket is filled with feed. she didn't really get that the point was to feed the chickens ;)

Walking to the next stop with her egg.

She was so proud to be carrying her basket.

Planting her tomato.

Making sure it had enough water.

Taking a tomato for her basket.

Posing with daddy

Milking a cow

Picking a peach

Driving the tractor!

Picking some corn

Double checking everything in her basket

LOVE this!!! she wasn't quite tall enough :)

Another pose with daddy

driving the BIG tractor

Getting ready to sell her goodies to the farmer's market

paying for her treat! she picked out a rice
krispy treat to buy!

The next stop was the pony rides! I was so excited for her to get to do this because David was actually there to see it. She has been on 2 other rides, but David couldn't be there either of those times. She had so much fun; she laughed the entire time!

So much fun on Tex....very appropriate.

After the pony ride, we headed over to the petting zoo. I wasn't sure how she was going react to all of the animals, but she did great. She loved feeding them, and was even fazed by the deer that tried to eat all of our clothing!
