Day at the Farm

On the Saturday before my mom left, we wanted to take her somewhere that was special for the Bakersfield area. We decided we would go to one of the farms in the area, since Bakersfield is a huge agricultural area for the US.

We had such a good time. They had all of their fruit available to taste for free. It was so yummy we came home with a few bags of fruit. Then we decided to take a hay ride around the farm.

Along with way, you could stop and pick fresh strawberries.

She loved picking them herself.

They have a large kids area, so Lily found a cow to ride on.

I can't believe how much fun we have. I'm so glad we can go get fresh fruit! We have already been back again. I can't wait until more of their fruit is in season.
