Bye Bye Ugly Cabinets!

When we started searching for a new house.  I had a couple of things I really didn't want - one of them being orange cabinets.  I swear we have had those things in every house we have lived in and I HATE them.  Considering the market in The Woodlands is absolutely crazy, some things had to be taken off the list, and cabinets was something we could change.

So shocking!  The house we loved had those dang cabinets...so first thing on the list...get those updated!!  We decided to hire some one before we even moved in.  That way it wouldn't always be that one thing "we should have done first".

Here's the after!  I love them!  We had them hand painted/stained black and added new shiny hardware.  

11 Months!

She's 11 months old!  Man time flies!

New Home!!

We are officially Texas homeowners again!!  We finally closed on our house in The Woodlands!  After  wanting to be in this area for so long, we are glad we now have a home here!  We can't wait to make this house our home!  

The best part of the new house is the pool!  I never thought we would own a home with a pool, but we loved the house, and the pool just happened to come with it :)  I know we will enjoy it SO much in the summer, and I'm sure there will be a lot of parties here in the future.

Maroon and White Game!

David was so excited he got to take Lily to A&M for the Maroon and White Game.  He got to show her around campus, and she got to see football live for the first time.  She said it was a little loud for her, and she didn't understand why people kept getting knocked over, but I think she had a good time.  

I'm so glad they get to do so many daddy/daughter things together.

This girl loves her puppy!  Granted, sometimes it's a bit more love/hate when she tries to take her food or knocks her down.  But seriously...how cute are they together!

Children's festival

Baker Hughes was a sponsor of the Houston's Children's festival so we got tickets to go.  The girls had a great time!

Not sure we are ever going to go back....it seemed more set on businesses selling things, or trying to make money, but it was a fun outing for the day!
